वो प्रेम पुराण याद हैं अपना जब थे मंचले  साथ था अपना,  एक अपनी रचना सुना कर चंद शब्दो को पिरोया था,  और सुनाई जो वो मंचल कविता तब तुमने भी मुस्काया था, बड़ी नजाकत होले से ना जाने क्या बतलाया था?  और मधुर रात्रि की जग मग कियारी ने ना जाने कैसी फैलाई थी,  थी तुम बड़ी नकचढ़ी सी लड़की पर उस दिन मेरे कविता पे मुस्कायी थी, और स्याम सलोना रंगत थी तुम्हारी राते भी कुछ काली थी,  चमक रही थी एक चीज उस दिन हा याद  आया वो तुम्हारे मुस्कान की लाली थी ll
